What do you mean by 'Futuristic Plan'?
Planning for a property with future things  in mind is called 'Futuristic Plan'.

Can you give some examples for 'future things'?
Today CCTV camera in each room may not be a common practice.  But in future, it may become a necessity. Planning for this arrangement in your property well ahead is important.  Another example is - today you may have just one TV in your Hall / Living Room.  Tomorrow you may have one TV in each bedroom.  If you wish to provide cable TV for each room in future, it may not be possible if you didn't plan well ahead (not only for cable, but also for power plug point, etc)
What do you mean by 'plan ahead' for future things?
If you plan ahead, for example CCTV camera for your property, you will do the provisioning for that. Provisioning will cost less (like internal pipe, cables, etc) and real implementation may cost more.  But it is better to plan this and do the provisioning.

What if I don't want CCTV in future?
CCTV is just an example.  Even number of pins in an electrical board may be considered as 'futuristic'. Because few years back there was only one pin (plug point) for TV.  Today, in the same plug point, TV,DVD, Home Theatre System, Set-top-box, etc are connected using extension box.  If planned well, provisioning could have been done while construction was going on.
Is it expensive to do this?
No. Only the provisioning charges will be required.  Real implementation may be expensive which you may do it in future and not now.

What if I don't do this 'Futuristic Plan'?
Tomorrow if you wish to add something  new to your property, it may cost you more.  If you think about future requirements now and just do the 'provisioning' for the future requirements, it will save you lot of time, energy and money.
