Q) How come your services are so cheap compared to 'Architects charges?
We do simple plans which will give a good picture of what the customer needs from an usability perspective.
Architects do it from a technical perspective which are complex and
used by builder. Also our tools are economical. Hence our services
are cheaper.
Q) Won't I get these services from an Architect?
Please do check with your Architect whether he/she does 'Wall Plan', 'Electrical Usability Plan', 'Plumbing Usability Plan',' Safety Plan',' Comfort Plan', 'Futuristic Plan', etc. If they do that, please ask them to do it. One of our aims is that all Indian Architects do these plans for each and every customer so that Quality of Indian Homes will be on par with Developed Countries Homes. Unfortunately, most of the Prospect Owners don't even know who the architect is for the building. Then how can they get these plans.
Q) Do you do 'Front Elevation' or 'Side Elevation' for the buildings?
As mentioned before, we are dealing with only the functional aspects of a Home / Apartment. 'Front Elevation' (meaning - 3D drawing containing how the front side of the house/building should look like) or 'Side Elevation' are considered to be 'non-functional' aspect for HomePlanGuru and it falls under 'Aesthetic Part of the Building'. As of now, HomePlanGuru is not dealing with 'Aesthetic Part of the Building'. Architects will do this for you, if you are ready to pay a 'huge' amount to them.
Q) Why don't you do 'Aesthetic Part of a building' (i.e. look and feel of the building)?
Assume that you have to buy a car for your daily commute to office. You have two options: Option i) A car which will run smoothly, low maintenance, good mileage, etc but doesn't look that attractive. and Option ii) A car which looks attractive but doesn't run smoothly, more maintenance, poor mileage, etc. Which one will you go for?
If your answer is (i), then our concepts are similar to this. We focus more on 'Functional Aspects' that help customers get a high quality home.
If your answer is (ii), then we don't deal with it because our primary focus is on the 'good characteristics' of a home than 'beauty' of it.
Q) I'm going for an apartment. Your plans are really useful for me. But how can my builder implement these plans? What if he says no?
If you are assertive, the builder may implement these plans. Also when the "demand is high and supply is less," customers can't get what they need even if they pay a huge amount to the builder.
Please note that this is an unique concept in India. We ensure that our customers get maximum benefit from our services. If you have any doubts, please don't hesitate to call us or email us. We will be glad to assist you. |
